Unveil

Unveil vs LANDR, iZotope Ozone, MixMasterPro, LALAL.AI, Moises and Fadr: mastering, stems and MIDI in one place

Mastering sites master. Stem tools split audio. Transcription apps find chords. Unveil does all of it in one account. Its Biomimetic Mastering is modeled on how the ear hears, it starts from an analysis of your mix, and Batch Master takes that same approach to large batches. Here is how that compares with six popular tools.

Unveil in one view

Unveil starts with the mix, not the master. It analyzes loudness, true peak, dynamics, phase and tonal balance, flags the problems and gives exact fixes with steps for your DAW. When the mix is right, Biomimetic Mastering takes over. It is modeled on how the ear hears: a psychoacoustic masking detector (Bark-scale) works out where vocals and instruments compete, and an adaptive mid/side mastering chain is built from that overlap. The genre is detected automatically and you get a 24-bit WAV. Batch Master applies the approach to large batches of tracks in one pass, and Golden Ear lets you hear your mix through simulated club-system environments before you release it.

The same account also converts audio to MIDI, finds chords, transcribes lyrics and identifies the instruments in a track, and Unveil's own plug-ins (UnveilAI, Unveil EQ, TuneTone and the Music Tool Kit) bring the same intelligence into your DAW.

Unveil vs LANDR

LANDR is an online AI mastering service sold by subscription, with plans that differ in master format and quantity, plus distribution and other services.

Unveil's Biomimetic Mastering is modeled on how the ear hears and builds its mid/side chain from an analysis of your own mix; Batch Master handles large batches, and both bill per track with no subscription, so a quiet month costs nothing. Before you master, Unveil also tells you exactly what to fix in the mix, with steps for your DAW, and after mastering Golden Ear lets you audition the result on simulated club systems.

Unveil vs iZotope Ozone

Ozone 12 is a mastering plug-in suite: Ozone 12 Advanced lists at $499 with 20 modules, a Master Assistant, Stem EQ, Bass Control and Unlimiter, with lower-priced Standard and Elements editions and a 10-day trial.

Unveil gets you a finished master for roughly $1.00 to $1.75 a track, with no plug-in to learn and no large upfront price, and it tells you what to fix in the mix before you master. For hands-on control inside your DAW, Unveil EQ (a one-time $79, with a free 14-day trial) and the free Music Tool Kit give you precise EQ, dynamics, a true-peak limiter and full metering.

Unveil vs MixMasterPro

MixMasterPro is listed as an AI mix analysis tool with feedback, reference comparison and stem-level insights, with a free limited tier and paid plans.

Unveil goes from analysis to action to delivery: exact fixes written for your DAW, a progress view when you re-upload, biomimetic mastering, large-batch mastering, stems and MIDI, all billed per use rather than by subscription.

Unveil vs LALAL.AI, Moises and Fadr

LALAL.AI (free 10 minutes, Lite $7.50 per month, Pro $15 per month), Moises (freemium, up to 27 stem types, chord finder, lyric transcription) and Fadr (free Basic; Plus $10 per month or $100 per year with 18 stem types and plug-ins) are built around splitting and transcribing audio.

Unveil does that work too: Midify turns a track into stems and MIDI in one ZIP, and separate tools find chords, transcribe lyrics and identify instruments. What the stem tools do not do is analyze the mix itself. In Unveil the same account measures it, fixes it, masters it and then hands you the MIDI, with plug-ins for your DAW, all paid per use.

Questions

How much does an Unveil master cost?

Biomimetic Mastering costs 25 ProCoins per track and Batch Master, built for large batches, costs 5 ProCoins per track. ProCoin packs start at $3.50 for 50 coins and the 250-coin pack is $10, so a master is roughly $1.00 to $1.75 depending on the pack. New accounts get 100 free ProCoins and 20 more every month. There is no subscription.

Can Unveil separate stems and make MIDI?

Yes. Midify separates a track into four stems (drums, bass, other and vocals), converts them to MIDI and returns a ZIP. It accepts MP3, WAV, AIFF and FLAC files up to 200 MB. Unveil also detects chords, transcribes lyrics and identifies instruments.
