Unveil

Suno prompt generator for lyrics, style tags and exclusions

Unveil's Suno Prompt Generator takes your rough lyrics, a style description or just a song idea and returns a title, structured lyrics, style tags, a longer conversational style prompt and an exclude list. Each part comes with a copy button so you can paste it into the matching Suno field. A free Unveil account is required to use it.

The parts of a Suno prompt

Songs made with Suno are shaped by a few separate inputs. The lyrics field holds the words and structure. The style field describes the music: genre, mood, instruments and production feel. Some versions also offer an exclude field for things you do not want. Treating these as separate jobs gives you more control than putting everything in one box.

The Unveil generator mirrors this split. It writes lyrics for the lyrics field, style tags and a conversational description for the style field, and an exclude list for the advanced options.

Writing effective style tags

Good style tags are specific and consistent. The generator aims for 5 to 12 comma-separated descriptors that cover genre, mood, key instruments and sonic character, for example dark trap, heavy 808s, minor key, atmospheric pads. Vague tags like good vibes give a model little to work with, and tags that contradict each other, such as a mellow acoustic ballad with aggressive screaming drums, tend to produce muddled results.

Structuring lyrics

Section markers in square brackets on their own line, such as [Intro], [Verse], [Pre-Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Drop], [Instrumental] and [Outro], tell the song where each part starts. Unveil's tool offers these as one-click inserts. It also asks the model to keep lines to about ten words or fewer, to avoid forced rhymes, and to prefer imagery over filler.

The tool also supports inline stage directions in brackets, such as [whispered], [energy builds] or [stripped back, vocals only]. These are plain-language hints for delivery and dynamics. Use them sparingly and check the results, because any generator may follow some hints and ignore others.

The conversational style prompt and the exclude list

A conversational style prompt is a short paragraph, starting with Create a, that describes how the song begins, builds, peaks and resolves, along with the instruments, mood and vocal character. It gives you room to describe an energy arc, which a tag list cannot do well. The tool suggests trying it in the style field in place of tags when you want a more nuanced mood.

The exclude list names two to five things that would spoil the track, such as an instrument or a vocal effect. Keep it short and specific.

Step-by-step workflow

  1. Sign in with a free Unveil account and open the Suno Prompt Generator.
  2. Choose a mode: Lyrics + Style, Lyrics only, Style only, or From idea.
  3. Type or paste your input. You can add a genre preset, which appends a ready-made style description, and insert section markers or stage directions at the cursor.
  4. Press Generate for Suno and wait for the result.
  5. Copy each block into the matching Suno field, listen to the result, and refine your input if something is off.

Common mistakes and honest limits

The most common mistake is asking for too much in one prompt: several genres, many moods and a long story. Pick one clear direction first, then add detail. Another is leaving profanity, names or sensitive themes unchecked. Read the lyrics before you use them, since the output comes from an AI text model and can contain awkward lines or a rhyme that does not fit your voice.

The generator produces text. It does not create audio, check copyright, or guarantee how any music model will interpret the words. The page's own tips suggest setting Weirdness lower for polished results and higher for experimental ones, and setting Style Influence to Strong if you want tags followed closely. Treat those as starting points to test, not rules. Keep a note of the prompts that work for you.

What you get

Questions

What do I get from one run?

A title, lyrics, style tags, a conversational style prompt and an exclude list, depending on the mode you pick. Lyrics only returns a title and lyrics. Style only returns a title and the style fields without lyrics.

How is the output generated?

The page sends your input and a detailed instruction prompt to an AI text model and parses the JSON reply. The results are suggestions, so edit them. The tool cannot see how Suno will respond to them.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free Unveil account is required, and signed-out visitors are sent to sign-up. No ProCoin cost is shown for this tool.
