This Privacy Policy explains what information UnveilMusic (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you use unveilmusic.app and our related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Your uploaded audio and the results we generate remain your intellectual property — we do not claim ownership of your works, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information We Collect

Audio you upload. To analyze a mix we process the audio file you provide. Files are stored temporarily to run the analysis and, for signed-in users, to power features like mix-version history and Fix My Mix. Free-tier uploads are subject to automatic deletion after a limited retention window.

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and profile details you choose to provide (display name, username, bio, DAW, genres, avatar, and any social links you add). Authentication is handled through Firebase and, optionally, Google Sign-In.

Usage and device data. We collect standard analytics — pages visited, features used, approximate device and browser information — to understand how the product is used and to improve it.

Payment information. If you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles that in accordance with its own policies.

How We Use Your Information

To provide the service — analyze your audio, generate scores and feedback, and deliver the features you use.

To maintain your account, history, and preferences, and to process payments for paid plans.

To improve the product — diagnose issues, measure feature usage, and develop new capabilities.

To communicate with you about your account, security, billing, and material changes to the service.

Service Providers

We use trusted third parties to operate UnveilMusic, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud (hosting, authentication, storage, and processing), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (usage measurement), and AI/ML providers used to generate descriptive analysis. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and only as needed to deliver the service.

Your Content & Ownership

The audio you upload and the resulting analysis and mastered files are yours. We host, process, and store them for a reasonable time to provide the service and, where applicable, to back them up so they remain available to you. We do not share your uploaded works or results with other customers.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Free-tier audio may be deleted automatically after its retention window. You can delete your saved analyses and audio from within the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, to remember your preferences, and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may limit functionality such as staying signed in.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us and change your password promptly.

Children

UnveilMusic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of UnveilMusic after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
