How it works
- Export a stereo mix from your DAW (24-bit WAV or FLAC gives the most accurate result).
- Choose your genre and DAW, or let Unveil detect the genre.
- Receive the score, the measured problems and the fixes, each with a frequency and an amount.
- Apply the fixes, export again and re-analyze to see what changed.
What is measured
- Integrated loudness (ITU-R BS.1770-4) and loudness range (EBU R128)
- True peak with 4x oversampling
- Phase correlation and stereo width
- Tonal balance across six bands, sub to air, against genre targets
- Frequency conflicts such as boomy bass, masking, harshness and a rolled-off top end
